Welcome to Experimental Gamer Studios, where we believe that video games have the power to make us feel, think, and experience things in ways not possible by other non-interactive media. Our goal is to explore these possibilities by creating games that deliver unique experiences to gamers.
Dave Welch has been a gamer most of his life but it wasn’t until the SNES era that he realized the potential of video games as an artistic medium with games like Final Fantasy III, Chrono Trigger, and Earthbound. Dave was a former writer, but now he works full time at Experimental Gamer where he handles our programming, art, design, and writing. When he’s not creating games he enjoys surfing Wikipedia, reading film and game reviews, and playing Ultimate Werewolf. His superpower is an enhanced sense of timing.
